​Fundraising is an integral part of any groups success.  The Marching Band holds a major fundraiser every Fall.  The type of fundraiser varies, our most recent have been mattress sales.  The mattress sale takes place one time only, usually on a Saturday.  Band parents are not required to make a purchase, but rather are asked to help spread the word to friends and family.  The 2018 sale not only had mattresses, but pillows, sheets and massage chairs.  The mattress sale has been a good fundraiser for Columbia Marching Band.  Information regarding the Fall fundraiser will be provided at the Spring or Fall parents meeting, as well as posted on the Facebook page.

Band students have an opportunity to work home game concessions during the Fall or Spring.  Concessions are usually during fall volleyball games or winter basketball games.  These opportunities vary and are not guaranteed.   The opportunity to work concessions comes from the school - students are offered a time to work through the band's Sign Up Genius system.

The Concert, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band along with the East Valley Bands perform a Christmas Concert every year.  This usually takes place the second week in December.  The concert is a fundraiser for the Booster club. Tickets can be pre-purchased online as well as at the door.  Free refreshments and surprise special guest round out a magical holiday evening.

A end of year Spring Concert closes out the school year for the Columbia Bands.  At the concert, usually the second Monday in May, the bands perform one last time and parents can enjoy a delicious dinner.  Dinner tickets can be purchased at the door.  Details regarding the concert and dinner will be posted on the Facebook page usually in April.

Stuff The Trailer: Throughout the entire school year we will be taking donations of soft clothing, bedding, etc.  We collect the donations in the band trailer and twice a year take them to Savers as a fundraiser.  Drop of times that the trailer will be open will be posted on the Facebook page and here under Events/Concerts.

On occasion, the boosters will hold an additional fundraiser in the early spring.  If this occurs details will be emailed out and posted on the Facebook page.
